About me...
I was born here in Gainesville in the late 80s, and went through this incredible and supportive school system. I played football, basketball, and baseball until my sophomore year of high school. After this things changed a bit in the athletics point of my life; I continued to play football, but only ran track in the spring of that year. My junior year I played football, ran track, and was also a pinch base-runner for the varsity baseball team. Football was (and still is) my first love, so when my senior season came around, I decided to play other sports. That winter I went out for the basketball team and by some miracle Coach Davis allowed me to play. In the spring of that year I chose to tryout for the soccer team at goalie and ended up splitting the time with a childhood friend. It was one of the most exciting times in my life. In April of that same year, I signed a letter of intent to punt and kick for Shorter University 90 miles away in Rome, Ga. I graduated high school with some of the best memories of my lifetime. Shorter University is now a Division 2 school athletically, but is still a private school, so it isn't cheap to go to school there. I came home in January of my freshman year and attended Oakwood University (Gainesville State) from January 2008-May 2011. After that I finished up in Dahlonega at North Georgia College with a degree in Middle Grades Math and Science and graduated in May of 2013. This is an experience of a lifetime for me and I am so excited to call WM home! We are working on getting so many amazing things in place for our students and our school like the service learning projects, Lego robotics, Edgenuity, and many other technological resources.
